During my 25 years serving in law enforcement, my concentration has been on advancing school policing’s role to include equity, behavioral health, student advocacy and improving school safety. These concentrations have guided the development of the policies and procedures that govern our agencies’ unique peacekeeping needs.
Office of the Chief
I am proud to lead a dedicated team of sworn peace officers, crossing-guards, and professionals in behavioral health and risk management whose primary objective is to ensure the safety of our students, staff, and hundreds of visitors to the District’s campuses and facilities. Every one of us strives to protect tomorrow’s leaders while providing an unparalleled level of service.

I graduated cum laude from the University of Texas at Brownsville with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. I earned a Master’s of Science in Educational Human Resource Development from Texas A&M University and served in Operation Desert Storm in the 101st Airborne Division, U.S. Army.
